Nursing
Our Practice Nurses can see you for cervical smears; family planning; travel immunisations; vaccinations; dressings; stitch removal; ear syringing; dietary advice; health checks; wart treatment.
Our Health Care Assistants can see you for blood tests, blood pressure checking, weight, health-checks. See also undertakes ECG examinations & dressings plus diabetes checks and spirometry.
Long term conditions
Patients with conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, asthma, COPD or stroke need regular monitoring. You will be invited by text or letter to attend for a review with the nursing team.
Maternity care
We have a Midwife attached to the practice who provides full maternity care. On confirmation of your pregnancy please you can arrange your first appointment with the midwife by using My Pregnancy Notes, an online resource for women to view and manage details of their pregnancy. Health visitor
The baby clinic for well children under the age of 5, runs at 10.00am to 11.30am on Thursdays at Roundhay Childrens Centre, Lidgett Lane, Leeds. If you are concerned about your child or if you just want to talk, then please come along. Please do not bring ill children to this clinic.
When your child requires immunisations, you will receive a letter asking you to make an appointment at your surgery.
District nurses
District Nurses visit housebound patients for nursing care and other problems at the request of the doctor
Stopping smoking
If you wish to stop smoking, then you should contact OneYou at oneyouleeds.co.uk. They run many support groups: there will certainly be a time and venue to suit you.
Contraception
We offer a full range of contraceptive advice, including a coil fitting and implant fitting service. Please make an appointment with the Practice Nurse for contraceptive advice.
Do you look after a relative, friend or child who is unable to manage without you?
If so, please tell us because we would like to offer additional support. Also, by completing a yellow card, available at reception, we can refer you to Carers Leeds who can offer you a wider range of support services

A list of fees for those services not covered by the NHS is displayed in reception. This includes private medicals, forms/letters completed by the GP and travel vaccinations
