When We Are Closed
We are closed one Thursday each month from 12.00pm for training
If you have an urgent medical problem while we are closed, please telephone the usual surgery number 0113 203 4550 and you will hear a message which will give you the option of phoning NHS 111 or the out of hours service – Local Care Direct, which is based at Lexicon House, Barrack Street, LS7 2BQ.
You may speak to a duty doctor for advice or they may require you to attend at Lexicon House. If you are unable to travel, the doctor may visit you. The out of hours service is the responsibility of West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board.
NHS 111- Urgent Care
In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS 111 on 111 to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor or attend A&E.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
